Las fotos que tenemos para ustedes estarán en orden en nuestras galerías tal y como se desarrollaron las actividades en esos días para que las chequen.
Empezamos comentándoles que la revisión mecánica en donde los corredores y unidades hacen acto de presencia para realizar la inspección mecánica correspondiente, inicio a las 10 am y termino alrededor de las 5 pm  y es ahí donde la fanaticada participa mas de cerca con sus pilotos favoritos y admiran los carros que les gustan además de hacer sus compras de camisetas y recolectar calcomanías de los equipos y negocios que patrocinan el evento así como calcas de Piloteando Behind The Wheel, que como muchos de ustedes nos vieron por ahí haciendo un poco de relajo, ya que nos acompañaban las chicas del mejor lugar para caballeros de Tijuana y muchas otras partes de la Republica.
El famoso “Amnesia Show Girls” el cual agradecemos el patrocinio de ellas a Sergio y Fabián que son Directivos de esta corporación tan grande y se portaron excelentemente con el equipo de Piloteando. Así que ya sabes si quieres encontrarte de nuevo a estas chicas visita su pagina Web que esta increíble www.amnesiagirls.com también las chicas estuvieron visitando en la tarima de la Tecate en donde hicieron un pequeño show que por cierto dejaron a todos los ahí presentes con la boca abierta, pues como no si aparte de enseñar parte de sus encantos regalaron algunas camisetas de Piloteando.

Ya después de terminada la revisión nos trasladamos a la calle Ruiz en donde monster drink y el papas & beer realizaron el “Monster party” que por cierto estuvo muy bien, la gente se divirtió y se llevo muchas sorpresas que Monster estaba regalando, además pudimos presenciar el show que hicieron los del club Diablos Bikers de Tijuana, demostrando el dominio que tienen sobre sus motos y también nuestros compas del club www.velociraptorsmotoclub.com y muy en especial a mi amigo y el que muy al inicio de piloteando cuando era un programa de televisión local en ensenada, siempre estuvo apoyándonos cuando en ese tiempo dirigía una empresa de telefonía celular, me refiero a Octavio Prieto.

En esta carrera baja 500 el recorrido fue de 424.22 millas en donde arrancaron 492 participantes y terminaron únicamente 257 teniendo como tiempo limite para llegar 20 horas.
La primer moto en llegar a la meta fue la # 1x de la categoría 22 tripulada por Robby Bell/Kendall Norman &
Kendall Hengeveld con un tiempo de 8horas 51minutos y 11segundos
y el primer carro en llegar fue el # 12 Trophy Truck, piloteado por Larry Ragland /Brian Collins, haciendo un tiempo de 9h 10m y 58s, la llegada se realizo en el campo de soft ball ubicado en la calle 11 y  bordo.

Es importante informarles que en esta carrera se contó con aproximadamente 200,000 espectadores a lo largo de toda la ruta y con esto queda mas que claro que se debe seguir manteniendo esta carrera que deja una fuerte derrama económica y los ojos de muchas partes del mundo se concentran en ensenada ya que contaba con prensa a nivel internacional y además que también participan como espectadores y corredores gente de países como Austria, Francia, Guatemala, Alemania, Canadá, Inglaterra, Israel, Italia, Japón, Nueva Zelanda, sur África y Estados Unidos así como la gente de México.
Por otro lado le damos nuestra mas sincera felicitación a nuestro amigo y Patrocinador José Montoya de Auto Partes Baja por haber obtenido el 1er lugar en su categoría 5-1600 haciendo un tiempo de 12h 45m 56s y dejando atrás por mas de 1hora 30 min al segundo lugar, así demostrando su destreza junto con su equipo a mas de 18 carros que partiparon en su categoría.

Let me start out by telling you that the mechanical check began at 10:00 a.m. and ended at about 5:00 p.m. This was where fanatics had the chance to participate with their favorite pilots and also they were able to get a closer look at the cars that they like.  People also enjoy buying t-shirts and collecting stickers from different teams and/or sponsors, just like the stickers of Piloteando Behind the Wheel. If you saw us here you probably noticed the girls that gave out our stickers.  They are from the best gentlemen’s club in Tijuana, they are known as “Amnesia Show Girls”.  Our appreciation to Sergio and Fabian (directors of “Amnesia Show Girls”) for their sponsorship and all their attentions towards us. And don’t forget…if you would like to check out these girls again, logon to www.amnesiagirls.com .  These girls got on the “Tecate” stage at the mechanical check and did a great show that left many with their mouths open.  They also gave away “Piloteando Behind the Wheel”

Once the mechanical check ended, we headed to “Calle Ruiz” where Monster Drink and Papas & Beer threw a “Monster Party”. People had a lot of fun… and Monster also gave away some surprises! There was also a great motorcycle show by “Diablo Bikers” of Tijuana and our friends of www.velociraptorsmotoclub.com ,  Our appreciation also to my friend Octavio Prieto who supported “Piloteando” when we first initiated with a local T.V. program in Ensenada.
Jumping now to what was the Baja 500…the route was of 424.22 miles with 492 participants and of these only 257 finished the race. Their limit time was of 20 hours.  The first motorcycle to arrive to the finish line was 1X of category 22, its pilots were Robby Bell, Kendall Norman and Kendall Hengeveld with a running time of 8 hours, 51 minutes and 11 seconds and the first car to arrive was #12 Trophy Truck, whose pilots were Larry Ragland and Brian Collins, with a time of 9 hours, 10 minutes, 58 seconds. The finish line was at popular softball field at Ensenada on 11th Street,
There were approximately about 200,000 spectators at this race…all throughout the route. This event is great to have at Ensenada since it brings many people and leaves a big economic spill to the city. There were also media people from Austria, France, Guatemala, Germany, Canada, England, Israel, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and United States.
Congratulations to our friend and sponsor, Jose Montoya of Auto Partes Baja, for obtaining first place in his category, 5-1600, and with a running time of 12 hours, 45 minutes, and 56 seconds, leaving behind second place by about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Him and his team demonstrated their great ability to the 18 of this category.
